Policy Statements

OFRA Operations Policy Statement

The OFRA Oversight Commission voted on October 23, 2023 to adopt these policy statements that lend direction to OFRA’s operations. They approved edits via email in late November, 2023.

OFRA Purpose Statement

The OFR Commission voted on December 8, 2025, to adopt this Purpose Statement, directing OFRA to ensure that it provides individualized services, and repealing and replacing its June 24, 2024, policy.

The Commission voted on October 23, 2023 to adopt these guidelines that describe the membership, roles and responsibilities, meetings, and other matters that guide its work.

Resolutions

Open Meetings Act Resolution

The Commission voted on February 26, 2024 to approve a resolution in compliance with the Open Meetings Act Resolution.

Enabling Legislation

OFRA and the Oversight Commission were created by statute in the 2022 NM Legislative session. The statute passed unanimously on the House floor and by a vote of 35 to 2 on the Senate floor. It was signed into law by Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham on March 8, 2022.
